1) two versions of a teen brain summary:

1. Brain studies show that adolescent brains are not fully developed, the regions responsible for comprehending are not fully developed until ones early 20s. It’s argued whether or not this data should be put into consideration when determining the legal culpability and sentencing of juvenile delinquents.

2. There has been an ongoing debate on whether new brain studies should be considered in the sentencing of adolescents.


2) 3-4 'rehearsal' thesis statment(s): - Due to the fact that their brains are still somewhat premature, brain studies' data should be used in the sentencing of teenagers.

  • Paragraph organization (chronology). I have been able to relate my paragraphs to each other and make them of reasonable size.

2. what aspect(s) of your work has most surprised you? what do you mean?

  • The ability to develop a reasonable thesis that summarizes the whole paper.

3. What aspects of reading,writing, critical thinking have been the least successful? what do you mean?

  • sometimes critical analysis gives me trouble.

  • Improve my critical analysis skills

  • Start on papers earlier because it will give me time for revision.

  • Everything, all has been helpful

  • Yes, I now know to read with a purpose and write critically.

  • If I pass the October WPR can my class attendance not be mandatory, I will still write the paper.
